As President of Flagship Accounting Inc., I lead with a strong commitment to client satisfaction, company growth, and the empowerment of our team. My journey in the accounting industry began in 1991, and for 19 years I worked in a small practice specializing in small business accounting, non-profit organizations, and First Nations auditing. In 2010, I took a bold step forward and launched Flagship Accounting Inc. — the next exciting chapter of my career.
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to find a career that brings me fulfillment every single day. My diverse experience has shaped a firm that welcomes clients from all walks of life. At the heart of my work is a passion for teaching. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is mentoring the students who join our team. Sharing my knowledge and helping them grow is just as important to me as the technical side of accounting.
At Flagship, we do more than just crunch numbers — we build lasting relationships. Our clients often describe their experience with us as something truly unique. We’ve also built a workplace that reflects the lives of the people who work here. Whether it’s supporting a student’s school schedule or making time for parents to attend their kids’ sports days and awards ceremonies, flexibility is built into our culture.
Outside of the office, I cherish time spent with my three amazing daughters, my granddaughter, and of course my partner and our mini farm of animals. I also volunteer a lot of time to a variety of local charity organizations. I love to read, do puzzles, and play cards, board games and video games, in my spare time of course.

Flagship has always been my home away from home! I first became part of the Flagship team in 2010, though I had known Crystal for many years prior to officially joining her amazing company. Back then, we were just a handful of employees and clients — a small but mighty crew. I had explored the world of industry accounting, but I was searching for something more than just showing up to work every day.
Over the years, I’ve truly enjoyed the journey of growing this business alongside Crystal, both in and out of the office. Her mentorship and guidance have played a huge role in my development. I’m so proud of the company and community we’ve built — one that supports growth, connection, and flexibility for both our team and our clients.
In October 2018, I took a big leap and became a co-owner of Flagship Accounting Inc. It’s been an incredible adventure so far, and I’m excited for everything still to come.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my three amazing, growing children — Aria, Mason, and Mava. We enjoy camping and exploring new adventures together. I’m also grateful for the love and support of my partner, Al, who shares in the joys of life’s everyday moments.
